Sugar Cookies aka White Wonders

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour

PreHeat oven to 435. Cream sugar, butter and eggs until smooth. Add vanilla and sour cream and mix well. Then add all of the dry ingredients slowly until it forms a smooth firm dough. If rolling out and cutting into shapes, dough works best when refrigerated prior to rolling. Cookies can also be spooned out onto cookie sheet and baked like that. Bake 5-7 min. DO NOT OVERCOOK!

SHELF LIFE

How long will that keep?
How long can that bottle of ketchup stay in your fridge before it goes bad?
I'm thinking 5 or 10 years but if you want an expert opinion, go to the web site Still Tasty . This site lists all kind of foods and how to keep them fresh longer as well as when to get rid of them. If you have a question click on the particular picture, and a whole list of stuff appears....Then click on the item in the list. What a lot of people don’t know is that using products (medicines, etc.) that are passed their expiration date is very unhealthy.
WHAT A GREAT SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
